Published pricing
Neither Harvey nor Ironclad publishes a price — both are quote-only, verifiable in one click. Riven will publish on the same model as Riven Business and the API PAYG endpoint.
Self-hosted single-tenant option
Harvey runs on Microsoft Azure with logical data separation and in-region processing; self-hosting and on-premise are not mentioned, and single-tenancy is not claimed. Riven's self-hosted single-tenant option is a defensible differentiator for firms with data-residency mandates.
AI-action governance by default
Ironclad's approvals govern contract stages; Riven's will govern AI-operator actions on the Propose-Approve-Act-Audit rail. Harvey documents no approval workflow at the AI-action layer.
Same rail and deployment as Riven Business
Riven Legal inherits the Propose-Approve-Act-Audit governance rail and the self-hosted single-tenant option from the broader Riven platform — one architecture across ERP and legal.

- Riven Legal is in development. Do not claim feature parity with Harvey — Vault-scale bulk document analysis, legal/regulatory/tax research, and Word/Outlook add-ins are all shipped by Harvey and not yet by Riven.
- Do not claim Ironclad lacks approval workflows. Approval routing, conditional approver escalation and a no-code Workflow Designer are advertised on their pricing page. The accurate contrast is contract-stage approvals vs AI-operator-action governance.
- Do not say Harvey has weak security or no data isolation — RBAC, logical workspace separation and EU/Switzerland/US/Australia residency are documented.
- Do not publish any Harvey or Ironclad price, even "starting at" — no dollar figure exists on their own sites.
- Riven is weaker on legal-domain depth, integration ecosystem and shipped feature set. Harvey ships domain-specific research and bulk analysis Riven Legal does not yet have.
